A2 CLASS NON-COMBUSTIBLE MEMBRANE FOR CONSTRUCTION

FIREFLY MEMBRANE WP is a non-combustible, fire resistant membrane achieving an A2 non-combustibility classification in accordance with the demanding EN 13501-1 standard.

FIREFLY™ MEMBRANE WP is constructed from a strong, durable woven glass substrate aluminised on one side. It is a breathable, weatherproof barrier with excellent mechanical properties and is designed to be a vapour permeable layer or reflective insulation layer in commercial wall applications such as facades.

FIREFLY™ MEMBRANE WP is lightweight, pliable, extremely strong and durable and easy to install. Joints between membrane layers should be sealed with FIREFLY™ Foil Tape or overlapped by at least 150mm.

INSTALLATION  FIREFLY™ MEMBRANE WP is a durable construction material but care should be taken to ensure it is not damaged during storage or installation. It is not designed to withstand prolonged exposure to the elements. Installation should be in horizontal runs starting at the bottom plate. Joints should be appropriately taped with FIREFLY™ Foil Tape or the membrane overlapped by at least 150mm to ensure membrane continuity. General installation advice is available on request.
FIREFLY™  All FIREFLY™ products must be installed in compliance with the FIREFLY™ Installation Guide, which is provided upon request. Deviation from these drawings should not be carried out without written authority from the FIREFLY™ Technical Department.
